Figure Drawing Workshop
August 23 @ 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm
Presented in collaboration with the Museum of the Shenandoah Valley. In this 2-session workshop artists will hone their skills working directly from a live model. Beginning through advanced students 18 and above are welcome. Charcoal, pencils, paper, and light refreshments provided. Led by Shenandoah Valley artist Paul Zdepski. Registration includes admission to the museum.

Paul Zdepski is a painter, cartoonist, illustrator and university professor who applies his skill and sense of humor to Editorial Cartoons, Comics and Paintings. Paul holds a BFA in Illustration from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, and an MFA in Illustration from the University of Hartford. Paul’s work has been hosted by the US State Department’s Panamanian Embassy, Universidad del Arte Ganexa, Shenandoah Museum of Contemporary Art, the Museum of the Shenandoah Valley, Edison Place Gallery – Washington DC, and the Society of Illustrators – New York. He is a member of the Society of Illustrators NY and the Illustrator’s Club of DC, MD and VA. He lives in Strasburg, Virginia with his family, surrounded by some very nice neighbors that aren’t put off by the occasional roar of chainsaw carving.
