Art Show & Sale – Wilson Webb Collection
From childhood Mr. Webb enjoyed drawing architecture and landscapes. He studied life painting at Rutgers University while in high school. He furthered his education by attending college at the Tyler School of Fine Arts in Philadelphia, PA. Mr. Webb’s art career was interrupted for twenty five years by military service, marriage, four children and a career in retail. A major life change in 1994 led him to leave his business with his employees and move to Costa Rica where he painted landscapes and opened a ceramics learning center and art gallery in Monteverde, C.R. He returned to the States in 1997, closed his Washington business and moved to Winchester, VA to devote his time to painting. He had many one-person shows and his artwork was displayed at the Blue Mountain Gallery that he shared with artist, Ellen Burgoyne.
Our sincerest appreciation to Ms. Burgoyne and Mr. Webb’s family for the gift of several oil paintings with a focus on farm and field. It is our pleasure to showcase these beautiful works of art. All paintings are available for purchase. Simply m email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 540-667-5166 to let us know which painting you’ve chosen & when it is convenient to pick up.
